Teaching Assistant | Special Needs Education | SEMH & ASC Focus
Role Summary
This is a term-time-only Teaching Assistant position for 36 hours per week, focused on supporting students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC). The salary is between £23,746 and £26,986 FTE.
Main Responsibilities
As a Teaching Assistant, your primary duties will include:
* Providing direct support to pupils, both individually and in small groups.
* Working with teachers to implement lesson plans and educational activities.
* Monitoring student progress and assisting with assessment records.
* Maintaining a positive and organised learning environment.
Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
* GCSEs in Maths and English or an equivalent qualification.
* Prior experience working with children.
* Strong teamwork and communication skills.
