Ad Hoc Drivers Mate - Heywood
We are currently recruiting for dedicated and reliable Van Drivers assistant to work within a family run business based in Heywood. We have fantastic opportunities for hardworking, driven and flexible individuals to join our team doing a hands-on role.
This is a flexible, as-needed role supporting our drivers with deliveries. There are no guaranteed set hours or fixed schedule you’ll be offered work when additional support is required. As a Driver’s Mate, you’ll help with loading, unloading, and delivering goods, and assisting the driver throughout the day. Some weeks may have more shifts available than others, while at times there may be little or no work.
This role is ideal for someone who is flexible, reliable, and able to work at short notice, and who is looking for occasional work rather than a regular full-time or part-time position.
About the Job:
* loading and unloading the van
* assisting the driver with deliveries
* multi drop delivery
* picking and packing orders for delivery
* maintaining stock levels
* working as part of a team in a fast paced environment
* maintaining a safe and tidy work space
* general warehouse duties

Salary: £12.21ph
