Purpose of the Role:
We are seeking a qualified Solicitor or FCILEx with a passion for employment law to join our dedicated Employment team for the Leeds office. You will primarily handle a caseload of legal expense insurance (LEI) files and will also assist with a range of non-contentious employment matters. There may be future opportunities to supervise junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:
* Advise clients on the prospects and strategy of Employment Tribunal claims
* Manage a caseload of Employment Tribunal files from inception to resolution
* Draft pleadings, witness statements, and settlement agreements
* Instruct counsel or advocates as appropriate
* Ensure compliance with insurer Service Level Agreements
* Assist with non-contentious employment matters including drafting contracts, handbooks, and providing day-to-day advice to business clients
* Participate in client training sessions and contribute to legal updates
* Use case management systems effectively and ensure timely billing and invoicing
What We’re Looking For:
Essential Skills and Experience:
* Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Fellow of CILEx
* Solid experience in employment law, including managing your own caseload
* Excellent communication, drafting, and time management skills
* A client-focused, commercial approach
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Positive, proactive attitude
Working Hours and Flexibility:
