The Role
We provide individuals with practical and emotional care, enabling them to live as full a life as possible. You will work flexible shifts, including bank holidays, weekends, and potential sleep-ins.
Main Duties
* Implement individual support plans and activities
* Maintain effective communication with service users, families, and colleagues
* Support service users with meals, laundry, cleaning, and social events
* Maintain accurate notes and records
* Work as part of a team to provide high-quality care
* Support young adults with learning disabilities, mental health issues, behavioural difficulties, autism, and physical disabilities
Personal Characteristics & Qualifications
* Diploma in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards one)
* Experience supporting adults with challenging behaviour, learning disabilities, or mental health needs
* Ability to stay calm under pressure
* Confidence to work independently or as part of a team
* Excellent communication skills
* Passion for working with vulnerable adults
* Commitment to safeguarding and high standards of care
