The Integrated Family Portfolio is delighted at the prospect of a unique opportunity to lead the perioperative paediatric theatre suite in Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital (RACH), which consists of 3 operating rooms, PACU, a dental suite and provides support to outlining services used by paediatrics in NHS Grampian.
As RACH are embarking on their journey to Magnet recognition, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced senior practitioner who will embrace this dynamic and challenging role. The applicant will be an expert clinical practitioner responsible for providing leadership to a dedicated and hardworking team. The post holder will have advanced knowledge of perioperative practice thus ensuring effective management and running of the multi specialised theatre suite at RACH. The successful candidate will provide direct line management to the team, have sound clinical knowledge and highly developed clinical decision-making skills in perioperative care. Candidates should have the ability to positively influence and display creative change management skills and demonstrate the ability to work beyond traditional boundaries and achieve excellent outcomes whilst motivating and driving forward change.
We value applicants who hold a portfolio of perioperative management experience across the continuum of scrub, anaesthetics, recovery and surgical specialisms. A proven record of leadership, development and clinical service improvement is sought.
