Title: Finance ＆ Accounting Assistant (Japanese Speaking)
Location: London
Salary: GBP 35K-40K
Responsibilities:
(1) Accounting Operations (Cash Management)
Funding Management for Real Estate Projects
・Arrangement of monthly funding for each project
Cash Flow Management
・Preparation of cash books, invoice management, and setup of online banking transactions
Expense Reimbursements
・Compilation of monthly employee expense reports and office-related expenses
(2) Closing Operations
Bookkeeping (in coordination with outsourced accounting firms)
Accruals Management
Support for Quarterly Closings (JGAAP) and Annual Closings (UKGAAP & JGAAP)
Support for Audit Procedures
(3) J-SOX / Internal Audit-Related Tasks
Coordination with external auditors (Deloitte Tohmatsu) and Tokyo Headquarters
・Handling of documentation and responses to inquiries during annual J-SOX/internal audits
(4) General Administrative Tasks
Document Management (e.g., approval forms, contracts)
Business Travel Arrangements
IT Support
Research and Preparation of Materials
Requirements:
-Japanese full fluency level. English Business level
-Have experienced in accounting or similar experiences
-A cooperative and detail-oriented team player
