About the Invigilator Role
As an examination invigilator you will be responsible for ensuring that all exams are conducted in accordance with the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ), awarding body and Thomas Clarkson Academy's instructions & expectations. Invigilators play a key part in “upholding the integrity of the external examination/assessment process.”
Some of your duties will include keeping all exam papers and materials secure, before, during and after the exams have taken place. You will also be responsible for all candidates in the room, ensuring they are seated in the correct place, with the correct exam paper issued to them.
