Job Description:
A large digital transformation technology consultancy is looking for a GDS-focused Product Owner to join their team.
Salary - up to £55,000 per annum + benefits
Hybrid remote (likely 1-2 days per month in London, Newcastle, or Manchester)
Candidates must be able to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.
Must haves:
* 2+ years of commercial experience as a Product Owner/Manager
* Hands-on experience in user-focused product or service delivery
* Familiarity with government digital service standards
* Deep understanding of agile methodologies and their practical application
* Confidence working with both business and technical teams to align requirements and delivery
* Ability to manage competing priorities and make business-driven decisions
* Flexibility to support multiple roles within agile teams
* Leadership and stakeholder management skills
* Relevant agile certifications such as PSPO or PSM preferred
About the Role:
The Product Owner will contribute to a digital transformation team, shaping user-focused digital products and services, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver value. The role involves stakeholder engagement, backlog management, and supporting wider organisational initiatives like business development, internal knowledge-sharing, and continuous learning.
Key Responsibilities:
* Own and communicate the product vision
* Manage and prioritise the product backlog
* Engage with stakeholders and lead sprint reviews
* Support roles such as Business Analyst or Service Designer as needed
