An exciting opportunity has arisen for Lifecycle Engineering Manager with experience of Condition based Monitoring and Technical expertise in Service process S3000L and Asset Management to join our PWR1 and PWR2 Engineering Team.

As the Lifecycle Engineering Manager you will drive and influence effective, integrated technical risk management and rigorous root cause analysis. Utilising your expertise in proactive reliability and technical surveillance to support continuous product enhancement for customer satisfaction and business expectation.

What you will be doing:
You will be supporting the development and execution of the In Service strategy collaborating with both internal and external networks;
1. Providing technical direction, supporting and delivering training to peers and more junior professionals, and technical leadership to teams and projects.
2. Leading the definition of capability projects including capturing requirements, creating proposals, achieving stakeholder approval, acquiring funding and aligning partner support
3. Supporting the development and application of new capabilities; leading capability development projects
4. Leading the resolution of new and emerging technical, compliance and business problems using analytical processes and professional judgement
5. Ensuring appropriate policies, standards and best practices are defined, shared and adopted

6. Experience of Condition based Monitoring, full Life Cycle Engineering or ILS (Integrated Logistics Support) Supportability Engineering
7. Technical expertise in Service process S3000L and Asset Management
8. Strong Stakeholder Management Capabilities
9. Project Leadership and experience of training and mentoring others
10. Professionally qualified Engineer (UK minimum BEng degree or other national equivalent)
11. Understanding of Intellectual Property and Export Control requirements

To work for Rolls-Royce Submarines you need to hold a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you don’t currently already have this in place.
