Job Vacancy: Driver - Nirvana Day Centre - Fridays
Location: Client pick-ups in Slough/Maidenhead | Drop-off at Nirvana Day Centre, 12 Mandarin Way, UB4 9TU.
Working Hours:
Friday: BOTH SHIFTS TO BE COMPLETED EACH DAY
* Morning Shift: 8:15 AM - 10:00 AM.
* Afternoon Shift: 3:00 PM - 4.45PM.
About Us:
Nirvana Day Centre provides a warm, inclusive, and supportive space for adults in need of daytime care and companionship. We are currently seeking a reliable and compassionate Driver to safely transport our clients each day.
Key Responsibilities:
* Complete up to 4 pick-ups daily in Slough/Maidenhead.
* Transport clients from their homes to the centre in the morning, and return them in the afternoon.
* Assist clients in and out of the vehicle as needed.
* Some clients have dementia and so ensure child lock is used in the car
* Maintain a clean and safe vehicle.
* Ensure punctual and smooth journeys.
* Communicate respectfully with clients, families, and staff.
* Follow all safeguarding and health & safety procedures.
Requirements:
* Full UK driving licence.
* Use of your own reliable vehicle (petrol allowance provided).
* Previous experience with elderly or vulnerable adults is a bonus.
* Friendly, patient, punctual, and dependable.
