Offer description

Financial Services Administrator (Mortgage, Pensions and Protection). Permanent – Fulltime – Coventry City Centre (Office based Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm).

£30,000 - £35,000 (Dependent on experience)

Are you a competent Financial Advisor Administrator with experience across pensions, investments, mortgages and protection? If so, we have an excellent opportunity to work for a successful and growing firm based in Coventry.

You will work with a small, friendly, and established team to provide full administrative support including the following: -

* Client contact, assistance and communication
* Liaising and information gathering from clients and providers
* Assisting with product and fund research
* Producing cash flow models
* Client file meetings (with advisers)
* Assisting advisers to create suitability reports from advice intended and given – training will be given if required
* New Business Processing and chasing through to completion
* File completeness checking
* Ensuring all relevant paperwork such as wage slips, proof of address and funds are collated for mortgage applications
* Liaison with mortgage providers and solicitors
* Client servicing, such as change of address, income etc.
* Managing ongoing client reviews
* Contacting clients as required
* Maintaining own CPD as appropriate in line with T&C Plan and ESMA
* Paradigm / other seminar attendance as appropriate
* Post handling (incoming and outgoing), including taking post to Post Office as required and the Post Box
* General office duties; scanning; taking phone calls;
* Key holder duties

Experience required

* You will have previously worked within a financial advisor practice
* Pension and investment administration knowledge and experience is essential
* Mortgage experience is preferred but providing you have the capacity to learn and support this area of the business we would welcome your application.
* Excellent organisational skills
* Collaborative and team working skills
* Enthusiastic, driven and keen to learn
* Customer service focused with great communication skills
* Systems to include Fintegrate ATR, Selecta Pension, Defaqto Engage, Paraplanning Online (PPOL), Intelliflo, CRM Brain and IPipeline. Any exposure to these would be advantageous.
