Career Returners:

We are excited to be partnering with Career Returners to offer the Career Returners Programme at M&G. The programme is targeted at experienced professionals who are looking to return to work after an extended career break of 18 months or more and who are interested in returning to the Financial Services sector.

We wee people who are returning to the workplace after a career break, whether that was to look after family, provide care, for health reasons, travel, volunteering, study or time out. The journey back to work can be daunting so we put this programme in place to ease the transition. Plus, wherever possible we offer flexible working and family friendly arrangements.

Location: Stirling or London

Programme: 12-month Fixed Term Contract

Start date: October 2025

How will you benefit from the Programme?
1. You will have the opportunity to be part of a tailored 12-month programme with the potential of longer-term opportunities onpletion
2. You will receive coaching support from Women Returners for the first 6 months to help you transition successfully back into the workplace, as well as a mentor and buddy at M&G for the duration of the programme
3. You will be part of a cohort of like-minded professionals and as such benefit from a cohort network
4. The programme is expected to include hybrid working, which will include time working from home. Various other flexible working options may be available during and after the programme depending on the team and the role


Who are we looking for?

5. Experienced professionals who have taken a career break of 18 months or more (as of October 2025). During this time, you may have been working small-scale around othermitments or have not done any paid work
6. Interested in returning to the Financial Services sector

The Role: Business Analyst - M&G Life - 12 month Fixed Term Contract

The Role:

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to take a role in M&G Life to help achieve some of our key strategic objectives.
9. You will lead the viability analysis for small to medium sized projects and support larger and moreplex projects delivered by our strategic partners.
10. You will work with the business and our strategic partners to analyse and understand business problems and opportunities based on an understanding of the desired business oues and strategic drivers.
11. You will define your approach and plan for your business analysis work including stakeholder engagement and oues of analysis activity. This will also include working with the business to gather, analyse, challenge and prioritise business requirements in relation to the business problem.
12. You will provide oversight and assurance of analysis and solution design activity delivered by our strategic partners.

Key responsibilities for this role:
13. Identify andpare the best processes or delivery methods to use, including measuring and evaluating oues. Helps the team to decide the best approach.
14. Analyse current product/services and processes, and identify and implement opportunities to optimise these. Help to evaluate and establish requirements using relevant techniques such as gap analysis.
15. Use quantitative and qualitative data to define oues and solutions.
16. Investigate problems and analyse options for new and existing products and services.
17. Provide rmendations to solutions; work with stakeholders to identify objectives, opportunities and potential benefits.

18. Collaborate andmunicate with sponsors and stakeholders across the organisation using a range of tool and approaches to elicit the best oues and level of engagement.
19. Can interrogate and interpret data from a range of sources, for example user research and process performance metrics, and consequently help the team to make data driven decisions.
20. Can create user flows, wireframes and map business processes which represent the current structure and future design of a product or service.
21. T akes an innovative mindset to problem solving. Can identify opportunities and generate ideas for continuous improvement of the delivery model, and generates insight to address unmet user needs.
22. Helps the team set and manage expectations.
23. Identify key stakeholders; manage their needs in harmony with user needs, using evidence to justify their decisions. Should understand how to handle opposing views, andbine them to reach consensus.
24. fortable working in Agile, Waterfall and hybrid projects, and understands the advantages and disadvantages of the different methodologies.
25. Understands the importance of adhering to Changeernance standards.

Experience
26. Experience working in fast paced environments using different methodologies
27. Experience working in cross functional teams
28. Experience contributing to, and achieving, good customer oues
29. Experience in setting up and facilitating workshops to understand business needs, gather requirements and ensure the business and user needs continue to be met by the proposed solution.
30. Experience of Financial Services products and practices.
31. Experience of working with 3rd party partners and providers desirable but not essential
