Most of our students are coming to us from mainstream education to have access to an adapted National Curriculum delivered in small classes with a focus on meeting their sensory needs and support for their emotional wellbeing. The Role: We are looking for an enthusiastic SEND teacher, who is experienced and flexible in teaching subjects across the curriculum. This role will encompass both KS3 and KS4 teaching, with a particular emphasis on Life Skills and Humanities. Our cohort of young people at KS4 will be studying a range of qualifications, including GCSE level humanities courses, alongside Entry Level and therapeutic work on life skills, independence and careers. As a growing school supporting many young people with mental health needs, we are looking for a teacher who is dynamic, resilient and passionate about supporting neurodivergent students' mental health and wellbeing. This requires you to be flexible and neuro-affirmative in your approach where the relationship with the young people comes first.
