The Business Development Executive plays a pivotal role in identifying and securing new business opportunities within Open Space, supporting NHS Property Services' mission to enable excellent patient care through better estate solutions. This role drives growth by engaging new landlords, promoting product services, and meeting KPI and revenue targets, while working collaboratively across internal teams to build strong relationships, negotiate commercial agreements, and ensure successful project delivery through a proactive, customer-focused approach.

You are a commercially minded and relationship-driven professional with a strong track record in identifying growth opportunities and delivering value through strategic partnerships. You thrive in collaborative environments, working cross-functionally to secure new business and ensure successful service delivery. You bring energy, insight, and a customer-first approach to every engagement, helping NHS Property Services achieve its mission of supporting excellent patient care.

Key responsibilities:

* Identify and engage new customers through proactive outreach and business development activities
* Conduct B2B engagement with interested customers, building relationships and converting interest into active usage
* Act as the primary contact for customers during sales and onboarding, providing account management support where needed
* Maintain ongoing customer relationships, understanding evolving needs and identifying opportunities for system or process improvements
* Upsell additional value-added services and manage their delivery to ensure timely and high-quality execution
* Represent Open Space at industry events to raise awareness and generate new business opportunities
* Monitor and report on productivity, campaign progress, and key performance indicators
* Share technical and professional expertise to support team development and knowledge growth
* Ensure compliance with governance standards and contribute as a subject matter expert (SME) for Open Space
