Our client who resides in Hampshire is looking for a live-in Junior Butler to ensure the smooth running of the household.
You will be joining a large, fully staffed household, and will be providing first class food and drink service to the family and their many high-profile guests.
The family is looking to find the right candidate with a forward-thinking mentality and a desire to work hard to gain valuable experience within the industry,
Duties to include:
Welcome guests and ensure a warm, professional reception.
Attend to guest requests promptly and discreetly.
Assist with personal service, including coat handling, luggage assistance, and seating arrangements.
Help maintain order and cleanliness in assigned areas (private rooms, service areas).
Assist senior butlers in organising events or private functions.
Monitor household supplies and report shortages to senior staff.
Serve meals, drinks, and refreshments according to protocol.
Assist in setting formal tables and maintaining dining etiquette standards.
Ensure presentation and service quality meet household or hotel standards.
Working Days: 6 days a week
Working Hours: 12 hours a day (down time when the principals are away)
Accommodation: Shared cottage with own large bedroom
Salary: £30,000-£40,000gpa for the right candidate
Benefits: Travel and accommodation is provided when working overseas, a bonus will also be given.
