Goods In Warehouse Operative required to work for our client in Abingdon Oxfordshire.
Our client is looking for a reliable and methodical individual to join their team at a warehouse in Abingdon, Oxfordshire.
Salary: £30,000 Per Annum
Job details: Permanent
Location: Abingdon, Oxfordshire.
Hours: Monday to Friday 09.00-1730 (30 minutes for lunch)
Start date: ASAP
About the role:
As the Warehouse Operative, your responsibilities will include:
* Book in shipments from
* Check & log in 3rd party motors
* Be responsible for putting away all deliveries from suppliers, with support from the warehouse team
* Check stock locations and update SAP as needed
* Assist in running perpetual inventory counting system
* Unload supplier deliveries, validate suppliers delivery and raise goods received note
* checking that parts are in their proper location and stored in line with company guidelines
* Load shipments to customers onto lorries
* Assist Warehouse staff Picking components for Assembly team to build
* Assist Packing goods ready for despatch, including labelling
* Assist in maintaining the cleanliness/tidiness of the warehouse
* Any other reasonable task as requested by the Operations Manager, or Managing Director, for the fulfilment of the job and according to the needs of the business
* Actively follow policies and will maintain an awareness and observation of Fire and Health & Safety Regulations
About you as the Warehouse Operative:
* Will be reliable
* Reach Fork Lift Truck licence
* Have attention to detail
* Professional attitude and understand that you will have a high responsibility
* Be comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting
* Ideally have a Full UK Driving License
