Registered Manager | Childrens Residential Home (EBD) Location: Bramley, Leeds Salary: £50,000 to £60,000 per year (depending on experience) Service: 3-bed Childrens Residential Home Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) The Role We are looking an experienced Registered Manager to open and lead a brand-new 3-bed childrens residential home in Bramley, Leeds. The home is set in a fully refurbished 6-bedroom property, carefully designed to create a calm, therapeutic and homely environment. It will provide high-quality care and stability for young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). As Registered Manager, you will have the opportunity to shape the home from the ground up: recruiting your team, setting the culture, and embedding the standards that will drive positive outcomes for young people. Key Responsibilities Full day-to-day management of the childrens home and holding Ofsted registration Recruiting, leading and developing a skilled residential childcare team Ensuring compliance with Childrens Homes Regulations and Quality Standards Embedding trauma-informed and therapeutic practice in daily care Overseeing safeguarding, risk management, care planning and inspections Building strong relationships with families, social workers and external professionals Creating a safe, nurturing and consistent environment for young people About You To succeed as a Registered Manager in this home, you will need: Proven experience as a Registered Manager in a childrens residential setting Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (Residential Childcare) or working towards completion Strong knowledge of safeguarding, Ofsted inspections and compliance requirements Experience supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) A confident leadership style with excellent communication and organisational skills Ability to build a positive, reflective and supportive team culture Full UK manual driving licence Whats On Offer Competitive salary: £50,000 £60,000 depending on experience Support from an experienced Responsible Individual and external childcare consultants Purpose-designed, therapeutic home already in place Autonomy to shape the home and lead in your own style Career progression into multi-site and senior leadership roles as the organisation grows Paid training, professional development and regular supervision A provider with a strong track record and genuine commitment to high-quality residential childcare Why Apply?
