Foundation Learning is the 23/24 winner of the RCU Beacon Award for Support for Students and an outstanding area of the college that provides a number of highly successful study programmes for learners with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND), barriers to learning and Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties (SEMH).

They will deliver highly effective Teaching, Learning and Assessment (TLA) throughout a timetable within Foundation Learning. This role is focused on our Supported Internship programmes and alongside a focus on TLA will also be job coaching, building partnerships and an aim to support each learner to gain sustainable paid employment at the end of their programme.
The role will involve maximising learners potential to make positive progress towards their Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) and/or personalised outcomes, aspirations and ultimately support sustainable destinations. They will promote inclusive practice, deliver high quality lessons and develop individualised teaching, learning and assessment approaches.
