At Cavendish Nuclear, we're working to create a safe and secure world. Join us as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at either our Warrington or Leicester sites.
The role As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you'll manage the delivery of engineering and technical activities, applying your process, domain knowledge, and experience.
Day-to-day, you'll assist in effective management of the customer, including liaison and relationship development with existing and new customers.
Ensure procedures, codes, and standards are correctly identified and applied to engineering and technical activities.
Contribute to the Project Safety Assessment process.
Ensure task and project risks are communicated and managed appropriately.
Produce, review, and approve calculations, analyses, drawings, models, design basis documentation, and technical reports as assigned.
This role is full-time, 37 hours per week, based in either Warrington or Leicester, with hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 days remote).
Essential experience
Nuclear experience is not required; applications from all engineering backgrounds are welcome.
Experience working collaboratively in multi-discipline teams on various project types.
Demonstrable experience across a variety of tasks and complexities.
Good communication skills and ability to interface with other disciplines.
Qualifications
Minimum HNC/HND in Engineering or equivalent with relevant experience.
