About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Admissions and Enrolment Manager to play a key role in delivering a high-quality, applicant-focused admissions service within a dynamic higher education environment.
Working closely with senior colleagues, you will lead the operational delivery of admissions and enrolment activity, ensuring processes are efficient, compliant, and designed to provide an excellent experience for every applicant. You will manage a small team, fostering a collaborative and supportive culture while remaining hands-on in day-to-day operations—particularly during busy periods.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Team Management
* Lead, support, and develop a small team of admissions professionals
* Manage workloads, priorities, and resources across the admissions cycle
* Foster a positive, collaborative team environment
Admissions Operations
* Oversee the end-to-end admissions process, from application through to enrolment
* Ensure processes are compliant with regulatory requirements and institutional policies
* Manage complex or non-standard applications, providing expert guidance where needed
* Maintain high standards in applicant communications and service delivery
Enrolment and Applicant Experience
* Lead the planning and delivery of enrolment and induction activity
* Ensure a smooth and supportive transition for applicants into study
* Champion a high-quality, inclusive applicant experience
International Admissions and Compliance
* Oversee international application processing
* Ensure compliance with UKVI requirements and visa sponsorship obligations
* Work collaboratively with compliance teams on CAS processes
Data, Reporting and Improvement
* Monitor admissions performance and analyse data to identify trends
* Produce reports and insights to support planning and decision-making
* Review and enhance processes, systems, and workflows to drive continuous improvement
Stakeholder Engagement
* Build strong relationships with academic departments and professional services
* Represent Admissions at internal and external events
* Deputise for senior colleagues as required
About You
You will bring proven experience in UK higher education admissions, alongside strong organisational and leadership skills. You are confident managing complex cases, interpreting data, and improving processes, while maintaining a strong focus on service excellence.
Essential:
* Experience of working in UK HE admissions (including UCAS and direct applications)
* Knowledge of admissions processes, regulations, and UKVI compliance
* Experience supervising or supporting a team
* Ability to analyse data and produce meaningful insights
* Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Desirable:
* Experience with CAS issuance
* Knowledge of healthcare admissions or related sectors
* Experience delivering enrolment or induction events
