Year 5 Class Teacher – Maternity Cover (Full Time)

Reed Education, in partnership with Lancashire County Council through the Lancashire Teaching Agency, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 5 Class Teacher for a full-time maternity cover position starting December 2025 and continuing through July 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons tailored to Key Stage 2 learners.
* Monitor and assess pupil progress, ensuring readiness for Year 5 curriculum milestones.
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
* Collaborate with colleagues to support whole-school initiatives and pupil development.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Proven experience teaching in primary education, ideally within KS2.
* Strong classroom management and the ability to inspire and motivate pupils.
* Confidence in delivering lessons aligned with the National Curriculum.
