Our client, a reputable 3PL company located in Wigan, is currently seeking a Scanner to join their night shift team.
* Location: Wigan, WN4.
* Nights Pay Rate: £13.08 per hour.
* Job Type: Temp to perm.
* Nights Hours: Monday to Friday.
Main responsibilities and Duties:
* Ensure all safety checks are completed on relevant equipment at the start of your shift.
* Use scan unit in an efficient manner.
* Ensure all pallets are scanned on allocated trailers.
* Identify profile of pallets/clause accordingly.
* Use digital camera/able to manually document.
* Observe site rules at all times.
* Carry out all your duties and responsibilities with reasonable care for your own health & safety and that of others who may be affected by your acts or omissions at work.
* Co-operate fully with company matters of health & safety.
* Present yourself in a polite and professional manner when dealing with both colleagues and depot drivers.
Requirements:
* Must have scanning experience.
* Due to finish time, candidates must live locally or have their own means of transport.
* Reliable, can-do attitude and good communication skills.
