Job Vacancies: x2 Employment Advisors Contracts: x1 permanent contract & x1 12 month fixed-term contract available Location: Bedford Salary: £31,000 per annum Role Overview Trigon Recruitment is working with a well-established national training provider to recruit experienced and motivated Employment Advisors. This is a rewarding opportunity to support unemployed individuals referred by Jobcentre Plus, helping them overcome barriers to employment and move into sustainable work. The successful candidate will manage a caseload of participants, providing one-to-one and group support, delivering high-quality employability coaching, and working closely with employers to create job opportunities. This role would suit someone target-driven, organised, and passionate about helping people achieve positive outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Manage a caseload of participants and support them into sustainable employment Work towards monthly job start and sustainment targets Carry out initial assessments to identify barriers to employment Develop and maintain tailored action plans for each participant Deliver one-to-one and group coaching sessions to improve employability skills Support customers with job search activities and applications Prepare participants for interviews, including mock interviews and feedback Produce and update CVs, covering letters, and speculative applications Liaise with employers to identify and secure suitable vacancies Promote participants to employers where appropriate Carry out benefit calculations where required Signpost participants to partner organisations for additional support Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on internal systems Ensure all compliance and quality standards are met Skills & Experience Required: Experience working in employability, recruitment, training, or welfare-to-work Ability to manage a busy caseload and work to targets Strong organisational and time-management skills Excellent communication and coaching ability Motivated, resilient, and proactive approach Ability to inspire and build rapport with a wide range of people Confident engaging with employers About the Organisation: You will be joining a respected national provider with a strong reputation in the sector.
