This Maintenance Service / Support Manager role in our Vans Business Unit is a hands-on opportunity to lead, support and develop our central maintenance function while driving performance, cost control and fleet compliance. Support the Engineering Manager in running the central maintenance operation. Act as the escalation point for complex maintenance and supplier issues. Drive cost control through supplier negotiation and repair authorisation. Ensure all compliance, MOT and fleet events are planned and completed on time. Provide technical guidance and support across the wider maintenance network. About You You bring strong experience from within the motor or fleet industry and are confident leading people while making commercially sound decisions. Background in vehicle engineering or fleet maintenance. Experience managing budgets and controlling maintenance costs. Proven ability to lead, support and develop team performance. Strong negotiation skills with experience managing suppliers. Confident communicator able to influence at all levels.
