Please note that this is a shiftbasedrole. You will work a 4on4off pattern (4 days of workfollowed by 4 days off to rest and restore). Shiftsare 12 hours in length rotating between 7am7pm and 12pm12am. Theright candidate is comfortable with this kind of schedule and thenecessary travel to and from our North Woolwich depot (LondonE16).
RoleOverview
We are seekinga dedicated and detail oriented Fleet & Warehouse Associate(Nights)to join our team. The Fleet & Warehouse Associatewill be a key part of our highfunctioning Live Operations team andwill be responsible for the handling and sortation of our parcelsas well as general depot maintenance as well as beingresponsiblefor the efficient operation and maintenance of our all electricvehicle fleet ensuring that our vehicles are safe reliable andalways ready for use.The ideal candidate will have a passion forsustainability and a some technical background in electricvehicles.
KeyResponsibilities
* Ensurevehicles are fully charged ready for the dailyroutes
* Perform routine inspectionsmaintenance and minorrepairs on our all electricvehicles
* Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanicaland electrical issues in electricvehicles
* Coordinate with internal andexternalservice providers for specialised maintenance andrepairs
* Monitor charging station performanceand address issues promptly
* Conduct thoroughpre and post vehicle inspections to identify any damages orissues
* Log and report any damages accidents orsafety concerns to the Fleet Manager and wider fleetteampromptly
* Ensure the interior and exteriorof all vehicles are clean andwellmaintained
* Implement a regular vehiclecleaning schedule to maintain a high standard ofcleanliness
* Ensure all vehicles meet safety andregulatory standards
* Maintain accurate recordsof maintenance and inspections
* Providerecommendations for costeffectiveimprovement
* Manual handling and sorting ofparcels
* Complying with all procedures rules andregulations to ensure a clean and safe workenvironment
* Completing dailyreports
Qualificationsand Experience
* Previousexperience in maintaining electric vehicles is highlydesirable
* Strong knowledge of electric vehiclesystems including batteries and chargingsystems
* Excellent problem solving skills andattention to detail
* Ability to workindependently and in a team
* Strongcommunication skills
* Holds a valid driverslicence
* Commitment to sustainability andenvironmentalgoals
