A well-established business in the construction sector is looking to add a Junior Commercial Manager to their commercial function, a genuine opportunity for someone with solid industry experience to step into a role with real breadth and a clear path to progression.
This is a hands-on position sitting at the heart of commercial operations. The successful candidate will support contract management, pricing, financial analysis, and customer engagement across live projects and client accounts, working closely with internal teams and directly with key customers.
What the role involves:
Preparing proposals, quotations, and tender submissions. Reviewing and maintaining contracts and commercial documentation. Monitoring contract performance, profitability, and KPIs. Supporting financial modelling, forecasting, and pricing. Identifying commercial risks and supporting governance processes. Building and maintaining relationships with internal teams and external clients.
What they're looking for:
* A minimum of 7 years' continuous experience within the Construction Industry. Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
* The ability to interpret contractual and commercial information. Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability.
* Confident communicator - written and verbal.
* Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
* A background in commercial, finance, project administration, or sales operations is a plus, as is familiarity with contract law or ERP/CRM systems.
