Role Overview: We are seeking a highly numerate and motivated Pricing Analyst to join a leading Pricing team. You will play a key role in supporting the development of pricing models for annuity business, including bulk annuities, and helping the team deliver accurate and insightful analysis across a range of projects. Key Responsibilities: Support the development and maintenance of scalable pricing models for annuity business within agreed risk tolerances. Prepare, analyse, and investigate policyholder data to inform pricing, addressing gaps and inconsistencies as needed. Conduct experience investigations to identify factors influencing pricing assumptions. Assist with valuation reporting, including Solvency II, UK GAAP, and IFRS17. Undertake ad hoc tasks as required to support departmental objectives. Core Competencies: Mandatory: Studying towards FIA (OR given up exams) Experience in data analysis with the ability to investigate and resolve data issues independently Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and Word Clear communication skills with the ability to propose solutions and work independently while seeking support when needed Good time management with the ability to meet deadlines Able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously Desirable: Knowledge of UK Defined Benefit pensions and reinsurance structures Understanding of actuarial concepts related to annuity pricing and valuation Why this role: This is an excellent opportunity for a numerate and analytically minded individual looking to develop in a pricing-focused actuarial role.
