The Role
We are seeking a detail‑oriented and experienced Electrical Inspector to conduct Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) across a variety of commercial and industrial sites, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. Identify hazards, document non‑compliance, and provide actionable recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct thorough EICRs in commercial and industrial settings.
* Identify and report defects, safety hazards, and non‑compliance issues.
* Provide clear, detailed reports with recommendations for corrective actions.
* Stay up to date with BS 7671, IET Wiring Regulations, and industry best practices.
* Communicate findings effectively with clients and offer expert technical advice.
* Ensure safety protocols and company standards are always followed.
Qualifications Required
* Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical inspection or related field.
* City & Guilds 2391‑52 (or equivalent) qualification in Inspection and Testing.
* NVQ Level 3 Qualification.
* IET BS7671:2018 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
* In‑depth knowledge of BS 7671, IET Wiring Regulations, and other relevant standards and codes.
* Valid UK driving licence.
Additional Job Details
* Position Type: Permanent, Full Time (Available Immediately)
* Salary Range: £48,367.80 – £50,661 base salary (travel pay included). Total annual earnings range from £55,000 to £77,000.
* Paid door to door.
* Annual Leave: 22 days plus 8 bank holidays.
