Accounts Payable Specialist - 6 Month Contract
Location: Hamilton
Salary: £30-35k equivalent (dependent on experience, qualifications, or training)
Work Arrangement: 5 days onsite
My client is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for a 6-month contract, with potential for permanent conversion. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable processes
2. Review and maintain the Purchase Order (PO) process
3. Enter invoices and secure necessary approvals prior to payment runs
4. Assist with credit control activities as needed
5. Support the existing team by following best practices and adhering to policies and procedures
6. Execute supplier payments with demonstrable AP experience
7. Utilize IT skills effectively, especially Excel
8. Communicate effectively with individuals at various levels within the organization
9. Adapt well within challenging environments
