Consultant Ophthalmologist – Private Sector
Location: Plymouth
Hours: Part-time or Full-time
Salary: Up to £140,000 + Benefits

About the Role:
You will:
* Deliver high-quality outpatient and surgical ophthalmology care
* Perform procedures including:
* High-volume cataracts, phacoemulsification under topical anaesthesia (essential)
* Eyelid surgery
* Laser treatment
* Provide expert assessments and diagnostics, including:
* Slit-lamp examination
* Gonioscopy
* Fundoscopy
* Tonometry
* Refraction
* Contribute to clinical governance, audits, and continual service improvement
What You’ll Need:
* GMC registration with entry on the Specialist Register in Ophthalmology
