Our purpose at Health Innovation West of England (HIWE) is to transform lives through innovation. Our remit, working closely with local systems and stakeholders, is to develop a pipeline of evidence-based innovations and support their adoption across the systems we serve.
In April 2024, we published our five-year strategy, focusing on ensuring communities in the West of England benefit from health and care innovations, with emphasis on prevention, early intervention, reducing health inequalities, and leveraging data and digital solutions to improve outcomes.
As we implement our strategy, we aim to expand our collaboration capabilities with community organizations, local authorities, public health teams, industry, academia, and wider networks including the national Health Innovation Network.
The postholder will lead this expanded collaboration and manage a portfolio of projects, including third-party innovation projects beyond our core national commissions.
