The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Social Value Lead to design, deliver, and report on the social value strategy for a high-profile Defence programme. This role is integral to ensuring the project delivers long-term benefits to communities, the supply chain, and the wider UK economy, in line with the UK Government Social Value Model and procurement requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement a Social Value strategy aligned with MOD and Government Social Value priorities.
2. Engage with local authorities, supply chain partners, and community stakeholders to maximise programme impact.
3. Deliver and monitor measurable outcomes such as:
* Jobs created and sustained
* Apprenticeships and training opportunities
* Community engagement and volunteering
* Environmental and sustainability initiatives
