Electrician - Maintenance
Social Housing Repairs – Croydon
Permanent position. Salary £40,000 - £45,000 plus company van and fuel card provided.
This role involves carrying out reactive and planned maintenance to occupied social housing properties in the Croydon area. It is a mobile role, traveling to domestic housing association properties for preventative and reactive maintenance and remedial work on occupied and unoccupied (voids) properties. Reports are received and completed via PDA.
Responsibilities
* Carry out immersion heaters, fans, showers, security lighting, communal lights and domestic electrical work.
* Complete minor works certificates and perform inspection, testing and remedial work on electrical systems in exchanges and voids.
* Respond to instructions and complete reports via PDA.
* Travel to and work across occupied and void properties as required.
Essential Qualifications
* NVQ Level 2 & 3 or equivalent (Essential)
* 18th edition (Essential)
* 2391 (Essential)
* ECS Gold Card or working towards
* Full UK Driving License
* Experience in a similar role
* Good communication skills
Desirable
* At least 2 years experience working for a Social Housing Contractor or Local Authority on domestic electrical repairs contracts
