Job Description:
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK, employing around 40,000 staff across various clinical and non-clinical roles. We provide acute hospital, primary, community, and mental health services to a population of over 1.15 million, expanding to 2.2 million with regional and national services.
The shift pattern for this role is Monday to Friday, from 08:00 to 16:30.
Responsibilities include delivering and repairing wheelchairs within the West of Scotland. Candidates must possess an HNC in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent, or an ONC with three years of relevant experience. A minimum of three years post-qualification experience in an engineering environment is required, along with good knowledge of engineering practices and materials. Knowledge of wheelchair repairs is advantageous.
A full driving license is required. Good time management, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential.
