Master Vehicle Technician required in the Edinburgh Region
1. Basic Salary up to £46,500 DOE
2. OTE up to £50,000
3. 40-hour week – Monday to Friday (8am–5:30pm)
We are seeking an experienced Senior / Master Technician to join a well-established independent workshop in Edinburgh. This is a great opportunity for a highly skilled technician looking to take on a senior role, with excellent earnings and career progression on offer.
Key Responsibilities for the Master Vehicle Technician:
4. Lead diagnostic and complex repair work across a wide range of vehicles.
5. Support and mentor junior technicians, assisting with fault finding and technical issues.
6. Carry out routine servicing, repairs, and MOT testing (if qualified).
7. Ensure manufacturer and industry repair methods are followed.
8. Work closely with the workshop team to maintain high standards and efficiency.
Requirements for the Master Vehicle Technician:
9. Fully qualified to Level 3 (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
10. Experience as a Senior or Master Technician within a workshop environment.
11. Strong diagnostic and electrical/mechanical skills.
12. MOT Tester licence desirable but not essential.
13. Full UK Driving Licence.
14. Positive attitude with the ability to mentor and support colleagues.
