The Role We are seeking an ambitious and experienced Director of Sales to drive all aspects of commercial performance, business development, and event strategy. You will play a key role in relaunching Elmers Court post-refurbishment, creating exceptional experiences and building strong relationships with clients, partners, and the local community Account manage key accounts including Corporate, M&E, & Leisure Develop social business in line with strategy Working with the Group Sales Director and Events Manager to set on property strategy for Sales and Events Secure new business for the hotel in line with the strategy Negotiate and develop local partnership and sponsorship agreements to build long lasting profitable collaborations Meet cross sell expectation of business across the Nici Group Drive activities to promote the property in line with the budget Negotiate and develop local agreements to build long lasting profitable corporate partnerships Manage existing accounts and provide production and revenue reports as required. Report on pro active activity in line with any group SOP’s To achieve the total hotel budget through creating a sales culture throughout the hotel resulting in the generating of high quality sales leads across the business and then converting this to revenue that meets the needs of the business Work closely with the Group Sales Director and Group Meetings & Events Sales Manager to maximize sales & events opportunities Represent the hotel or group where required at local networking and industry events Coordination of agent and client showcase and familiarisation events Work closely with the General Manager and wider leadership team to position the hotel effectively Work alongside the Marketing team to ensure the property is presented at the highest level via all channels
