As the demand for our expertise continues to grow, we have an opportunity for an ambitious Senior Electrical Engineer to join our MEP team based in Oxford.
You will be able to demonstrate solid experience of working in a design capacity with good all-round knowledge of building services installations. Working as part of a team, you will be expected to manage your own project work, undertaking design from concept through to detailed design, all while delivering excellent levels of client service.

Our current wide ranging project portfolio includes work in the science and research, advanced manufacturing, motorsport, education, defence, commercial and residential sectors.
Role and Responsibilities
1. Working as the Senior Engineer in a design team being responsible for electrical building services design
2. Supervising and monitoring the work of junior engineers
3. Using specialist computer-aided design (CAD) and BIM (Revit) software and other resources to design the systems required for the project
4. Undertaking electrical design calculations using industry standard software packages
5. Producing reports, drawings and specifications to suit RIBA design stages
6. Liaising closely with other professionals, including structural engineers, architects, surveyors, and contractors from both in-house and external project teams
7. Attending a range of project group and technical meetings
8. Carry out construction stage monitoring duties, including technical reviews and site-based inspections
Experience and Skills Required
9. Experience within an electrical building services design role from either a consultant or contractor background
10. Having an accredited relevant degree or higher educational qualification in an applicable discipline (HNC/HND)
11. To have achieved or working towards IEng or CEng status
12. Excellent communication skills and willing to work as part of a close-knit team towards a shared goal
13. Attention to detail and a strong desire to deliver high standards of client care
