We are currently working in partnership with an industry leading organisation based in Birmingham City Centre, who are looking to appoint a Procurement and Finance Assistant on an 8-week temporary contract.
This will be a full-time position, with hybrid working (2/3 days home working) and an hourly rate of £16.50 via an umbrella company.
This role is due to start as soon as Monday 2nd June and online interviews will take place 29th-30th May.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
* Raising and managing purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and correct approvals
* Tracking POs through the ordering process and follow up on deliveries and documentation
* Assisting with invoice matching and resolving basic PO or invoice discrepancies
* Maintaining procurement records and supplier details
* Supporting the procurement team with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and meeting coordination
* Liaising with internal departments and suppliers to support smooth procurement and payment workflows
Experience required:
* Finance and procurement administrative experience is desired
