Job Summary
The Community Play and Development service at Bradford Council are looking for casual community play and development assistants to join our service on a casual hourly basis. In particular, throughout the summer month periods of June to the end of August.

Main Responsibilities
•Support play activities and multi activity programmes for children and young people in a variety of community, school and out of school settings.
•To act as an advocate for children and young people to play in their local communities and community provisions.
•Build positive relationships with children, families and partners, encouraging young people to take part in planning and decision making about play provision.
•Maintain safe, well managed play environments by following health and safety procedures and adapting activities to meet the needs of the community.
