Conveyancing Assistant
Newcastle | Office Based | Full-Time Preferred / Part-Time Considered
Our client, a well-established law firm in Newcastle, is looking to recruit a Conveyancing Assistant to support 2 fee earners within its busy Residential Conveyancing team.
This is a great opportunity for someone with conveyancing support experience who is looking to join a friendly and supportive firm in a stable, office-based role.
The Role
You will provide day-to-day support to 2 fee earners, assisting with a busy residential conveyancing caseload and helping matters progress smoothly from instruction through to completion.
Duties are likely to include:
1. Supporting 2 fee earners with residential conveyancing matters
2. Using their case management system
3. Preparing correspondence and legal documents
4. Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and third parties
5. Opening files and assisting with general conveyancing administration
6. Helping to ensure matters are progressed efficiently and accurately
About You
The successful candidate will:
7. Have previous experience in a Conveyancing Assistant or similar support role
8. Be confident using case management systems
9. Be well organised with good attention to detail
10. Have strong communication and client care skills
11. Be able to work well in a busy team environment
Hours
The firm would prefer full-time hours, 9am–5pm, but will also consider part-time applicants working a minimum of 3 days per week.
