We are working with the Directors to recruit a part qualified (at least) Accountant to join their expanding team.
Responsibilities
* Prepare financial statements for a wide range of clients including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
* Prepare VAT returns and assist with corporate tax computations.
* Produce periodic management accounts.
* Provide clients with informed advice on topics such as tax efficiency, building your reputation as a trusted expert.
* Develop knowledge through working with Client Managers assisting with their ledgers, preparing accounts and associated tax calculations.
* Support one of the Directors with their portfolio and, in time, take on additional responsibilities while they drive the business forward.
Qualifications
* Experience within a UK accountancy practice.
* Part ACCA/ACA qualification – minimum.
* Competence with systems such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage or similar accounting packages.
