Cleaner – Education Environment (Temporary)
Location: Buxton, Derbyshire, SK17 7AN
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 15:15 – 18:15 (15 hours per week)
Contract: Temporary – approximately 4 weeks
Start Date: ASAP
We are recruiting a Cleaner to work within a school / education setting in Buxton. This is a temporary role covering a vacant post, expected to last around four weeks.
Duties include:
* Cleaning classrooms, corridors, toilets, and communal areas
* Emptying bins and replenishing consumables
* Mopping, vacuuming, and general surface cleaning
* Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
* Following all health & safety and safeguarding procedures
Mandatory requirements (education environment):
* Enhanced DBS check with barred list (essential)
* Proof of address
* National Insurance number
* 3 years’ references
* Right to work in the UK
* Overseas police check (if applicable)
* Ability to work reliably during afternoon hours
