We are hiring a contract Finance Analyst - Group Financial Accounting for our leading client.
Your new role
Understanding, consolidating, analysing andmunicating financial information relating to our group, to both internal and external audiences. Provide technical advice on a range of technical accounting issues.
Contract - 12 months
Location - Heathrow (Hybrid 3 days from office & 2 days from home per week)
Rate - Flexible (Inside IR35)
Accountabilities
1. Consolidation of group financial results (including all departments, subsidiaries and associates).
2. Preparation of the Annual Report and Interim Management Reports
3. Preparation of the monthly cash flow actuals and managing the inputs across the business
4. Deliver technical accounting updates on new accounting and financial reporting developments.
5. Responsible for reporting subsidiary financial information to subsidiary Boards, Leadership Team andpany Secretaries.
6. Preparing impact assessments on changes to accounting standards and developing implementation plans for those impacting the Group.
7. Support the FA team by performing technical research, analysis and drafting technical papers where appropriate on emerging technical accounting issues.
8. Prepare statutory accounts for centrally managed subsidiaries.

22. Experience in IFRS 9/15/16 and how these impact an airline is essential.
23. Experience delivering timely and accurate reporting for a publicly listedpany.
24. Experience consolidating a large number of subsidiaries, including foreign subsidiaries with varying functional currencies
25. Experience analysing data and presenting key insights and rmended actions to senior management.
26. Experience designing, implementing and running processes in partnership with overseas professional providers
27. Experience in financial modelling and forecasting using business knowledge and assumption guidelines.
28. Budgetary control and business/financial planning.
29. Experience dealing with external and internal audits.
30. Experience with SAP and Hyperion (Essbase, SMART and Planning)
31. Experience facilitating training and large group presentations.
32. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
33. Knowledge of UK and overseas reporting requirements.
Qualifications
34. Accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA) or equivalent, with relevant post-qualification experience.
35. Audit background with Big Four Professional Services Firm
36. Technical accounting and group consolidation experience essential
37. Aviation industry experience desirable
