Vacancy: Sideloader Driver - Timber Yard Operative
Location:Rodley, Leeds, LS13 1NP
Hours:Monday to Friday, 6.00am to 2.30pm OR 9:30am to 6:00pm
Pay: Starting hourly rate £12.71, increases available for licensed Sideloader Drivers
ABOUT THE BUSINESS
Woodlands Home & Garden Group is a market leader in the manufacture of high-quality garden buildings, including sheds, summerhouses, and log cabins. Operating across three sites in Rodley (LS13), Thornbury (BD3), and Horsforth (LS18), we continue to grow and are now looking for a skilled and motivated operative to join our team and keep production moving.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Move timber between yard, sawmill, and production areas
* Load/unload vehicles safely
* Support the sawmill team and learn new skills
* Operate forklifts, sideloaders or combilifts (sideloader training provided if needed)
* Working to targets while maintaining quality and safety standards
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
* Valid Sideloader or Combilift licence (required)
* Reliable, proactive, safety-minded and able to work as part of a team
* Previous warehouse or timber yard experience desirable but not essential
* Comfortable working in a busy environment
