Overview
Allsafe Scaffolding is seeking a driven and experienced Scaffolding Contracts Manager to join our established team and oversee the successful delivery of projects across multiple sites in the Midlands. We are also open to applications from advanced scaffolders looking to step away from the tools and take the next step in their career. This is a pivotal leadership role, ensuring all projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards of quality and service.

Due to continued growth and an expanding pipeline of work, we are looking to strengthen our team with another high-calibre Contracts Manager who shares our commitment to performance and safety.
The Role
Reporting to the Operations Director, you will take full responsibility for managing labour, project performance, and customer satisfaction. You’ll work closely with site teams, contribute to recruitment and training, and play a pivotal role in delivering on commercial and operational goals.
Responsibilities
* Oversee day-to-day contract operations across multiple project sites
* Allocate and manage labour, forecasting needs and addressing shortfalls
* View and price jobs in line with commercial targets
* Manage scaffold inspections, handovers, and compliance with TG20:21, SG4:22, and bespoke designs
* Monitor costs, stock levels, and project progress
* Lead recruitment and development of scaffolders and apprentices
* Ensure health and safety protocols are followed, including site inductions, RAMS, TBTs, and regular inspections
* Collaborate with other managers and departments (Transport, Yard, HR, H&S) to ensure seamless project delivery
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience as a Scaffolding Contracts Manager (preferred)
* Strong leadership, planning, and conflict resolution skills
* A proactive, hands-on manager with a passion for high standards and team development
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* Commercial awareness with the ability to manage programming, stock, and invoicing
Requirements
* Full UK driving license
* Advanced Scaffolder & Inspection Card
* SSSTS/SMSTS (or equivalent)
* Competent with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
* Knowledge of scaffold operations, design, and NASC guidance
* Gold Supervisor card (preferred)
