You will be working in the HS2 Mainworks HR Team based at Euston. On HS2 we are responsible, along with Costain and Strabag, for delivering one of the UK’s most ambitious infrastructure projects – 26 miles of tunnels from London Euston to West Ruislip, along with viaducts, bridges and embankments that will connect communities for generations.
We are currently looking for a Senior Recruitment Manager.
As the Senior Recruitment Manager, you will:
1. Lead front-line recruitment activity, delivering full lifecycle resourcing services to senior stakeholders
2. Provide oversight of workforce planning and resourcing strategies, ensuring alignment with business priorities
3. Engage proactively with senior leaders (Directors, Capability Leads, HR Directors) to influence resourcing decisions and maintain transparent communication on progress within SCS joint venture and Skanska
4. Champion recruitment controls and workforce planning processes across the project with a cost-conscious mindset
5. Support and mentor members of the resourcing team to navigate complex scenarios and manage fluctuating demand
We are looking for:
6. Someone with experience of in-house recruitment
7. The ability to drive fair, consistent, and timely selection decisions in line with EDI principles
8. Delivery of seamless offer and onboarding processes in collaboration with Parent Company HR teams Point 4
• Skills to shape resource briefs with hiring managers, agree sourcing strategies and timelines, escalating where necessary
