We have an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Analyst to join our team at Marston Green, Birmingham. This is an onsite role involving cross-functional collaboration and direct interaction with customers.
What you will do:
Responsible for Global Spares Supply Chain data analysis, ensuring all business and corporate measures required by Aftermarket Spares at Marston Green are collated, processed, and displayed within appropriate timescales.
The job holder will support the Global Spares team to achieve the business and customer deliverables associated with all current and future projects and be accountable for;
1. Collate and report prompt and accurate information to the business in agreed timeframes
2. Develop and support automation for both data extraction and data input using SAP
3. Develop and support Point of Use reporting tools to ensure Global Spares processes are effectively managed to deliver excellent customer service
4. Administer and maintain the RFQ process using best-practice methods to support the needs of the business and both internal and external customers, ensuring EBIT targets are achieved
5. Ensure all records are stored in accordance with our AS9120 accreditation
6. Work proactively with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure SLAs are achieved
7. Work in conjunction with Business Development to devise customer packages for key customers, using strategic pricing methods to help secure prospective orders
8. Assist with the annual spares catalogue process, including the building and deployment of customer-specific annual price lists
9. Challenge supplier quotes using historical financial data to ensure the business procures parts at the most economical rates
10. Assist the finance department with cost discrepancies on supplier invoices
Skills / Experience you must have:
11. Proficient use of Excel is essential for success in this role.
12. Experience within the aerospace industry or low volume / high technology environment is an advantage
13. SAP experience
