PA to the Vice Principals and Pastoral Administrator
Location: Accrington Academy
Salary: £30,940.00-£35,758.00 (FTE), £28,750.00-£33,227.00 (Actual)
Administration and Business Management Band 3-Professional (Dependent on Experience)
Contract: Full Time, Term Time Only plus 3 weeks (42 weeks total)

Start Date: Following satisfactory completion of all pre‑employment checks

Responsibilities
* Support senior leaders and the pastoral team to ensure high standards of care, behaviour, safeguarding and admissions administration.
* Manage highly confidential and sensitive matters and provide high‑level administrative support to the Vice Principals.
* Facilitate effective pastoral communication between the school, families and external agencies.
* Ensure pastoral, behaviour and admissions systems are accurately maintained and used effectively.
* Operate calmly and efficiently to meet required deadlines, managing competing priorities in a busy school environment.
* Build positive professional relationships with students, parents/carers, colleagues, local authorities and partner agencies.
Qualifications
* GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/Level 4 or above.
* Experience working within a school or similar environment is advantageous.
* Good working knowledge of the school management information system Arbor is desired.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
