About the roleAs a Life Actuary at NFU Mutual, you will play a key role in supporting the long-term profitability and sustainability of our Financial Services division. You will provide expert actuarial insight across new and existing business, helping to ensure charges remain fair for customers, while supporting the financial security of the business. Working within the Commercial Actuarial Finance team, your role will focus on both business-as-usual activity and project-based work. This includes designing and validating actuarial models, analysing complex data, and translating your findings into clear, well-reasoned recommendations for stakeholders across NFU Mutual. You will support decisions on new business and changes to existing life products, including pensions and investments. This role is aligned to our Stratford Upon Avon offices - you will have the flexibility to work 2 to 3 days in the office and the rest of your time working from home.About youYou are a fully or nearly qualified actuary with strong technical judgement and experience of applying actuarial techniques within a Financial Services setting. You combine analytical rigour with the ability to communicate clearly and influence decisions across a wide range of stakeholders.
