About this RoleThe Royal Academy of Arts Learning & Public Programmes team welcomes a wide public audience, supporting creative learning encounters and experiences for teachers, schools, young people, adults, families, and community groups.The Learning programme offers a broad range of activities and resources that enable visitors to explore their creativity, express ideas, learn new skills and develop an interest and confidence in looking at, discussing, and making art.We are currently recruiting a Learning Programme Manager to join our passionate and dedicated Learning & Public Programmes team on a fixed term contract as a maternity cover. As the Learning Programme Manager, you will oversee the delivery of the Learning programmes and projects and support the development and implementation of the Learning and Public Programmes strategy.About YouWe are looking for an experienced Learning Manager who has led on innovative and impactful creative learning projects and programmes for a broad range of audiences. You will have good knowledge of the visual arts and be passionate about the value of engagement in the arts. Your strategic, inclusive, and thoughtful approach to managing teams and projects will enable teachers, students, families and young people to explore art and artmaking, develop their creative skills and confidence whilst engaging with the RA’s exhibitions and Collections in ways that are relevant to them.You will be skilled in measuring the impact of learning activities using well researched and considered evaluation processes. You will enjoy working collaboratively alongside a range of colleagues and stakeholders to develop, promote, and deliver activities and resources. Your extensive networks and knowledge of the creative education sector will deepen the impact of our work in Learning. Deadline for applications is 5pm on Monday 23rd February.
